Am I preorgasmic or inorgasmic?

I have done a lot of research on this issue and am at my wits' end. I've been sexually active for six years, but I've never had an orgasm. I've tried everything: vibrators, showerheads, erotica, porn, boyfriends, relaxing, tensing... Nothing works! I have read sex help books and masturbation manuals, but don't feel even close to it. Sometimes I get a tingly sensation, but it does not build/ go further. Maybe something is physiologically wrong with me? I wasn't raised with any taboos around bodies, sex, or self-love. I can't afford a sex therapist, so your advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to say that I can't be of any more help than the many resources you have already tried. I assume that you've read Betty Dodson's book, which is the bible on this topic. You sound totally frustrated and I think that a visit to a gynecologist is in order. Very few women are anorgasmic - incapable of achieving orgasm - but it would be worthwhile to check the plumbing. And a professional would have better advice for you. Good luck.Randy
