A few thingsPosted by J. on June 13, 2008 at 05:52:06:
Hi, I really enjoy the show and I'm so sad to see it ending!
Well, my fiance is 14 years older than I am (I am 19 and him 32), and he has diabetes and usually he has ED.
The bitter sweet part to this is that usually when he has been drinking he actually has a hard erection. We both know it's not healthy at all but his doctor suggested no Viagra so is there any other things that we can do to give him that help? I thought cock rings, but I only have a vague idea as to what they do.
Also, I wanted to know if Vaseline was a good idea for lubrication?
Thank you for the great shows and I still watch the re-runs to learn!!

First of all, it's looking very positive that Sue will be back this Fall with a phone-in radio show on this web site, so all is not lost! She knows that viewers still need a good reliable source of sexual information.I don't know much about diabetes, but I assumed that alcohol and diabetes were a bad combination. It must really screw up your blood-sugar. There are other methods of treating ED, and they were around long before Viagra appeared. The most common is a vacuum suction device, which draws blood into the penis and then the erection is maintained with a tight cock ring. These devices require a doctor's prescription. Also, there is Papaverine, which is an injectable drug that induces an erection. He can ask about that too. There is an article on cock rings in the Sex Info section. And Vaseline is not good for intercourse. It destroys condoms, for one thing. If you are not using condoms, it can still cause trouble by blocking pores inside the vagina. Best to get water-based lube, which is readily available everywhere.
